Morning Breath Prayer + Psalm 131
A Practice of Stillness and Sacred Holding
“I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother.” — Psalm 131:2
Begin Here
This simple breath prayer invites you to start the day in stillness.
Drawn from Psalm 131, it helps center the body, settle the soul, and awaken your awareness of God's gentle, sustaining presence. No striving. No fixing. Just returning.

Practice Instructions
1. Find your seat.
Sit comfortably, feet on the floor, hands resting gently in your lap.
2. Ground your body.
Feel the floor beneath you. Notice the length of your spine.
Let your shoulders soften. Let your breath slow.
